The most attractive feature of the camera has become the 20MP Four Thirds sensor which is far from its predecessor and its deep video- centric feature set it has stepped up above all the CSCs.

The company is of the view that the GH4 will still maintain a respectable position with its lower-cost option and will not go out of the game, for those who do not need the extra and additional capability that GH5 brings for the specialized users.
But for many users the additional features of in-body stabilization and 4K video which works without cropping is enough to make the camera a worthwhile upgrade. But according to me, any knowledgeable person regarding cameras would realize that Panasonic has upgraded almost every characteristic of the camera’s performance and presentation.
Some of the key features that has attracted me to the camera apart from its 20MP camera, is the bigger grip that has a new handy video record button.
The GH5 has a full sized HDMI for the convenience of the users making it possible for the users with no need to carry big YAGH attachment.
It has the burst and video shooting options that can make anyone’s head spin.
Other features include:
• Has waveform and vectorscope monitors.
• The advanced level of DFD autofocus.
• An in-body image stabilization system with the support of ‘Dual IS 2’.
• It uses an Autofocus point joystick.
• It helps in 9 fps shooting with continuous autofocus.
• It has a dual UHS II card slots.
• Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth.
• Full width of the sensor used while taking all 4k Footage.
• Rack focus mode with pre-configured setting.
Like any other camera, it has its pros and cons.
The GH5 can be chosen for an outstanding video quality.
The pro-level video features makes it stand out from its competitors.
The GH5 incorporates all superb and mind blowing ergonomics for photos and videos.
The only major disadvantage I see with GH5 is the costs involved.
It is very expensive when the features are compared with that of the GH4. Secondly, most of the features that it claims to be better than GH4 are of no use to most of the users. In fact many might not even understand the meaning of such features.
And a slightly small problem is that the noise made while clicking the photos is slightly more than its direct competitors.
So basically I would conclude like GH5 is a more professional option for serious photographers and worth a buy, irrespective of the huge cost involved.
