Initially, when you see Panasonic GH1, its shapre looks little odd. The viewfinder or flash projection in the center is wide and kept on the lower side. While the lens mount seems unusually small, the shutter button is protruding.

Howerver, the back portion of Gh1 is same as G1; the only difference is the record button on the upper right corner

Control Layout

While Gh1 is a non-SLR digital camera, its controls are equitably similar to that of a DSLR and even more. There is a mode dial on the upper side that shows a substantial range of different options to choose from. These can be classified as three sets, i.e. advanced scene mode, advance and basic. Every set has some option to select from. While advanced scene mode incorporates Portrait and Sports mode, the advanced mode has Creative Motion Picture Mode, Shutter Priority, and Aperture Priority. Similarly, Basic mode includes Program and Intelligent Auto modes.

This Panasonic Gh1 has the ability to utilize autofocus feature during the video recoridng also and seems like it is built on absolutely advanced technology.
